Word up, long time no talk. Here is a quick breakdown of whats been up with us as of late. We spent alot of the summer traveling up north playing in new hampshire, maine, mass, and a big home show in RI. Thank you to everyone who came out to any/all of the shows and rocked out, said hi, bought merch, or just gave good vibes. Fall is shaping up to be really productive as we are headed back to the studio with Poorman in October to record some new songs. We have been promoting/touring on the Consider This EP from almost a year now and its time to get some new material out there. Throughout the fall we are looking to hit up as many colleges as possible, so if you know people who know people, please let us know and we can come play your school. Hmm, what else, well shortly 3/5ths of us will be living within the Providence city limits, so that should be sweet. Oh yes, our dudes in Therefore I Am have signed to Equal Vision Records which is great. If you havent heard them please check them out. And, the band Saosin is in the studio which they are streaming live practically 24/7 at their website. Get stoked, peace out, we love everyone,

News news news. All is lovely in the land of TCW right now. We have 5, yes that is not a typo, 5 new jams in various stages of demo-ing. Next week we start preproduction on them which should be magical. Also Matt procured a new guitar head which is very exciting. Hmmm, we have NEW SHIRTS (the first in about a year) so that is cool, as well as some new stickers. Hit up our merchstore for all the info and pics. We have some news regarding the release of the songs we are demoing, however, that will have to wait a bit ;)

June 1, 20086-1-08
Greetings, Apologies for the lack of updates but 2/5th's of the band moved over the past few weeks. Friday night we played in our new favorite place, Portland Maine. It was great; the other bands were nice and talented, the crowd was perhaps the best we have played for, and the promoter is not only an awesome dude but also does a great job. Who knew places like this still existed ? It was awesome and we cant wait to come back in the dead of summer to rock again. We played a new song titled "until it falls apart" that should be a regular addition to the set. Also, we have new stickers in the mail AND a new t shirt coming out very very soon so check out the merch store at bigcartel for all those fixin's. We have a few shows coming up in June so check that calendar !!!

Yo ! Quick update for the TCW camp. I just put up a few pics from the last couple weeks. I was out of the country in Mexico for a wedding for a bit. We also had the chance to play with Everclear and Yung Joc. Basically over the next few weeks we will be continuing to write and get new material prepared. However, next week on the 13th we are playing Harpers Ferry in Boston so come out and rock with us ! As an aside, we would really be down to get some co-ordination with some great artists/clothing companies, etc, so if you know some talented individuals, or are a talented individual please get at us and we can brainstorm on doing some cool and unique stuff which can benefit everyone. Talk to you soon,
jeff

Happy end of April ! I just wanted to take a moment and give a brief update on whats going down in the TCW camp. This blog with answer the questions of: When are you playing next ? Are you ever coming out with new tunes ? Did you seriously play with Yung Joc ? And most importantly, with the increase in the price of gold and silver, how much are my molar fillings worth ?
Last week we played a show with Everclear and Yung Joc and it was pretty sick. If you are really ambitious there are some live videos up on the internets which were shot by our good friend Mizz Ash. We really can't thank everyone enough for the opportunity; it is really totally nuts to play in front of well over 1000 crowd surfing dudes and dudettes. The night ended with a celebration of the birthday of none other than our own Jamie Thomas, and a big thank you goes out to our street team managers Jess and Cynthia for the cake :) Jamie also fully intends of cutting a rug at townhouse B-2 next time we invade Bryant University, so watch out ! Most of May we are concentrating on working out some new jams which we are super pumped about thus far. We do have two great shows in May to keep our chops up though. In the middle of May we are playing with a awesome line up at Harpers Ferry in Boston, and then at the end of May we are back up to The Station in Portland to play with another great line up of bands. Please also add "thecomingweak" on your AIM accounts because we are on quite a bit and like to chat. Have a great day ! Jeff

Hello !
I am back from Mexico with a nice tan and the sneaking flavor of Sol beer still upon my tongue. Mexico was awesome, but I will jump back into the TCW saddle. Basically, we have been continuing to write new material, and while I cant let the cat out of the bag yet, I think everyone will be hearing some new tunes sooner rather than later. Also, this Saturday we are playing with Everclear and Yung Joc at Bryant University. I am not 100 percent sure whether it is students only or open to the public, so check the myspace for all the juice regarding that. It should be pretty nuts and we are really excited to play for a bunch of new faces. New merch is also on the TCW horizon ! Aight, time for me to catch up and watch the finale of John Adams and the Calzaghe/Hopkins fight. Peace ! Jeff

April 15, 20084-15-08
Good morning. We played three shows this past weekend and I just wanted to give a quick update. On Thursday evening we headed up to UMASS in Lowell to play a show. Despite a few technical difficulties early on the show was really good. We were able to meet up with our friends in Fly Upright Kite so thats always a nice treat. After the show we got food on the 1st floor of the building where we played and there was some crazy rap karaoke going on. There were definitely some dudes getting their wild on with "what you know about this", very classic. On Saturday, we went up to New Hampshire and played a awesome show. All of the other bands were great and the crowd was awesome ! We are very much looking forward to going back up to New Hampshire soon. Very diverse bill with everything from a band that sounded like Death Cab to some really great metal/ metal-core bands after us. The Call for Mayday was one of them, keep your ears peeled for those dudes. Sunday night we played a home show in lovely Providence. I would go so far as to say it was possibly one of the better bills I have seen this year with The Homefront, Us Against the Archers, Far From Distant, and Lansdowne. All the bands played great and it was awesome to hear some of the new songs The Homefront recorded not too long ago. Jamie was shooting pictures like he worked for TMZ so hopefully those will get up soon. I leave for vacation tomororow, so talk to you next week :)

Hello Hello,
This past weekend was a good one. We had the opportunity to play in the WBRU Rock Hunt Semi-finals and it was a great show. The crowd was big and everyone was very very enthusiastic. The stage was perhaps the smallest we have every played on, but there was a very good vibe at the show. It was nice that we got to play with our friends in Someday Providence. All the bands played good sets and much love goes out to everyone who was up front singing along with us. This week it looks like we will be in New Hampshire, Mass and then back in RI for a great show at Club Hell. We are all pretty beat right now, so having a few days off this week should rest us up nicely for the shows this weekend. Thank you again to everyone who came out to sing along this past weekend, it was a blast, lets do it again sometime soon. Jeff

March 31, 20083-31-08
Hello, It is the last day of March already !!!! We have been busy bees this past little while playing a bunch of shows all over the northeast. This past weekend we went up to western mass and played at maximum capacity. Weird thing; it seems as though people go to the venue to hang out (not show specific) so there is like always a crowd for the bands. It was awesome, we were able to play to well over a 100 people and the sound was great. Any why doesn't this happen anywhere else ?????? Anyhow, the next day we trekked to Long Island NY for a early show. It was definetly cool, as one of the opening bands, The Azores, played covers of Screeching Weasel, NOFX, and the Misfits. PS- they are not even old enough to drive. Definetly cool dudes. Yesterday was spent recovering, doing laundry, and eating food. Also, Saturday, Sara (merchandising extraordinaire) and I went to eat with MIke and Jennie Poorman (producer extraordinaire), and I heard through the grapevine he has some time open soon, so if you are in a band and want to record a kick ass record get at him soon. Alright next stop April Fools, peace in the middle east,
Jeff TCW

March 23, 2008Easter and Portland
happy easter to all. Quick weekend recap - Friday night we played a great show at Firehouse13 with The Prospect (FL), T13C (FL), and VERSE. It was an ideal show as people were there, the touring bands played well and won over a some fans, and VERSE provided us with the opportunity to play with them. Saturday we took the day to travel up to Portland, Maine for a show. After traveling many hours and stopping many times for gas we made it up there and found the venue to be good and the promoter to be a great guy. From there the night just kept getting better, the local bands played well, we felt good about our set, made some new friends, and had a few drinks. Today we are hanging out and resting with a couple back to back shows at the end of next week. peace in the middle east,
jeff tcw

Alright alright, I haven't gotten the Millis pictures up yet. My camera died but they will be up soon enough. Just a few thoughts today. Thank you to everyone who reads this, comments, messages, listens on myspace, it literally means more than we can express. Bigger than infinite thank you's to those of you who have come out to shows. I saw an awesome speaker this week and to make a long story short, LIVE SHOWS ARE WHERE IT IS AT. I have loved seeing shows since my first (the suicide machines), through some not too great (maroon 5, hey they are not my thing) to the unreal (Saves the Day, New Found Glory, Alkaline Trio on the same bill ?!?!?!). By going to shows you/we are providing a place of community. It provides a place for the exchange of ideas, stories, and laughs. This is a key thing in a day which is filled with televisions and computers. I encourage everyone to keep going to shows of all kinds and dont be shy. Meet someone new, say hi, hell even do a little two stepping if you like. Just have fun and enjoy the community which you are a part of and which you have created !!!!! Thank you to everyone, see you at the next show :)

HHEELLOO,
Great show in Millis, Mass this weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out moshed/nodded your head/participated in the pile on/cheerleading pyramid type thing during our set; it was fun. I have a few random pics from other night which will be posted probably by the time anyone reads this. Warped Tour 08' in the house. please vote for us so we can wear jean shorts and rock with some great bands. PS- you can/should vote everyday if you can remember because as you know "every vote counts". oh yes, and breanne is correct that, contrary to popular belief (or the side bar of this page) matt tremblay is in TCW. Aight , till next time, here are a few recommendations: John Adams (HBO mini series) The Suicide Machines- Destruction by Definition

March 14, 2008Show Last Night 3/13/08
Hello,
Thank you to all who made it out to the show last night. It was a great line-up and a great turnout for a Thursday night. Everyone seemed pretty into all the bands too, so that is always nice. John snapped a few pics, one of him and Marissa wearing the same hoodie, so I am sure those will be up soon. Therefore I Am showed why they have the substance to back all of their recent "hype". They put on a great show, have great songs, and are great dudes. It is difficult to go wrong with that combination. Also a surprise appearance by Mike Poorman and Jonanthan Lullo, cant beat that. Till next time.

March 12, 2008Peace Love and Pictures
Hello Hello, Some of the recently posted pictures were taken by our friend Breann and more pictures from that set can be see at the link at the bottom of this post. She has shot pictures at a few shows and if you go to the link you may peruse them at your our leisure. Also a little bird told me that new press/promotional photos will soon be unveiled. After a "grueling" day of shooting I estimate it should only take about 1500 hours editing to make us look like fine presentable gentleman. On a totally random note, everyone should google Seth Godin and read his blog. It rules. One love.
